Can I pay with C.O.D., personal check, money order, or wire transfer?Because your blinds are made to your specifications and are not returnable, we cannot take COD orders. However, we do welcome Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. If you wish to pay by personal check or money order, we will be happy to try to accommodate your needs. Please email us with your special request. Do you accept Purchase Orders?Due to the nature of custom shades and blinds being made to your specific order, all orders must be paid before production begins, so we are unable to accept Purchase Orders. My institution is Tax Exempt. Can we place Tax Free orders with you?Absolutely! Blind Barn LLC does not collect sales tax on purchases with a billing address located outside of the state of Nebraska. If your Billing Address is located within the State of Nebraska, simply fax us a copy of your sales tax exemption certificate to 402-333-8790 along with the email address that your account was created under, and we will update your account to exempt you from sales tax collection. Can I place my order by phone?Unfortunately, no. Our web site is set up to ask for all of the critical details of your order and to make sure electronically that nothing is overlooked. This reduces the chance of errors to an absolute minimum, something that could not be done with phone orders.
What state do you ship from?All of our blinds and shades are shipped directly from the manufacturer to you. This provides the fastest possible service. Our own Blind Barn brand is shipped from a fabrication facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Some Kirsch blinds are manufactured in Omaha, others are shipped from factories located elsewhere. Graber products are usually shipped from either east or west coast fabrication facilities. When will my order ship?Remember, every blind or shade you order is made especially for you, so a certain amount of “assembly time” is required. This varies by manufacturer, the season of the year, and the product you order. It rarely exceeds two weeks in the longest circumstances. If anything unusual occurs that might delay your order, we are in immediate contact with you to discuss the circumstances and to determine your wishes. What does shipping & handling cost?That’s the great part about ordering from the Blind Barn. We pay the shipping. It costs you nothing, except on oversize width blinds, then there is a surcharge on each blind from certain manufacturers. Details can be found on our Shipping and Delivery page.
Who are you?We are window covering professionals and have been in the window covering business at the retail level since 1961. That's the kind of experience you have working for you. When you contact Blind Barn LLC, you will be communicating with a highly experienced owner of the company, the person most interested in your complete satisfaction. What if I want to discuss my window covering needs with someone?We recommend you email us with your questions. Your email will be answered in detail by someone with years of window covering experience, not a hired operator. We are happy to guide you in your needs, and to help you solve complex problems. We are dedicated to providing one-on-one personal service. Emails are answered promptly, including weekends and most holidays. What is your return policy?Because custom made products are made to your specifications, they are not returnable. Each product carries the individual manufacturer's warranty regarding materials and workmanship.
If your product is not made to the size or color you order, it will be corrected by the manufacturer. Note that Standard Deductions will be made by the manufacturer for inside mount blinds and shades. Refer to our Measuring Guides for details.
In every case, you will receive exactly what you ordered. We do not substitute or make other changes unless you approve them in advance. Are you an authorized dealer for all the products you sell?We have to be. All of our products are shipped direct to you from the respective factory.
